Contact and exchange between parents and teachers is an important prerequisite for a successful school day. Our school uses the following tools, among others, to ensure the best possible communication:
- Class forum („Parent’s evening“)The class forum takes place at the beginning of each school year. All parents of a class are invited to attend. In this group, decisions are made for the respective class and important information is shared.
- School ForumThe School Forum is composed of class representatives, parents' representatives, and the school administration. Decisions are made and information is exchanged in this body.
- Speech dayTwice a year, parent meetings are held. On these afternoons, in a personal conversation with the teachers, feedback is given on the children and young people's achievements, strengths, and weaknesses.
- Consulting hoursConsultations can be arranged individually. To do so, contact the respective instructor.
- KEL talks: KEL stands for Child-Parent-Teacher (Child-Parent-Teacher). This conversation is conducted once per school year by the children and young people with the parents and class representatives at the school; however, it is not solely about academic achievements. Through the KEL conversation, the parents receive a very personal insight into their children’s daily lives and school activities and sometimes learn something that has previously remained hidden. These conversations are accompanied and prepared with the class representatives and specialist teachers.
- School FestivalEvery year the school organizes the school festival at the end of the school year. The school festival is a great opportunity to get to know each other and exchange ideas outside of the school context.
- Digital information systemWe use an app-based information system for all classes. This guarantees quick information exchange.
