What do we need to feel comfortable and safe in our new school? This was the question our students from the first grades asked during three project days under the motto „Growing Together“. The focus was on the topics of space, protection, and support, inspired by Alfried Längle’s first basic motivation.
The children explored their new school, took over their classroom and together thought about what they needed to feel comfortable.
The second day was all about good mutual understanding: What gives us security? How do we deal with each other? Where can we find help when we need it?
During the joint hiking day on the third day, solidarity was palpable. Caring for one another, supporting each other, and being together on the journey strengthened the sense of community.
The three days showed us: To feel welcome doesn’t just mean getting settled in a new school; it also means finding your place, building trust, and growing together.
